Yes, I believe there is still a short position simply because the evidence at the time of the sale indicates that those 5 or 6 million shares were shorted, and with only about 16M free trading shares in existence there's just no way they could have covered with the extremely low volume. I think that's one of the reasons the sp gets walked down every time the buying interest fades.

That being said, I think the outfit with the short position is big enough that they aren't really paying much attention to it: they have plenty of capital to work with and do this all the time, and at these prices and volumes they don't feel threatened. I also think that they just use trading algorithms and have set it to try and cover as they can, selling more short on the ask when buyers chase it and then trying to drop the price to cover.

Tom has been in and out of the hospital. The chemo messed up his pancreas, so they're dealing with that now. I usually have to call 4 or 5 times before I can catch him these days.

I'm doing well: just need an investment to hit so I can retire.
