Honestly, with some DD, PRED looked awesome, so although originally "heard through the grapevine" leading back to Barry, it was my DD that led me to conclude this was a good risk to play and invest a nice chunk into it in low 1's (and subsequently again, add in the mid 2's). Not much more buckshot left, lol.
If anything, the first I heard about Merle was not good, followed by good, so heard both ways. I personally have not conducted DD on this man, so ultimately, have no opinion. I won't buy a stock because he may or may not be involved, I want a stock based on the business.
Thus, in contrast to PRED, what I've seen per the Furgeson ticker as on "Pirate TV" (and having heard, believably, Barry's picks are often, eh, not so much like PRED), is not much to go by--just basic idea of the business, no real details to DD (from the DD I conducted). A Vegas phone number? Idk.
It's up 400% in the few days since it was brought to our attention here on the board. Sure, cheap enough to buy a bunch at that price, but I see nothing that would justify a $20 eoy sp per Barry's claim. Up 400% in a few days on no news and a Barry pump. If I were to buy, I'd wait, but whatever. If I was going to play a stock (for real, not a small side-bet for kicks), I'd forgo anything, especially a penny, until I could conduct DD that would provide much more detail of the company and business first, and I don't see much to hang one's hat on there. JMHO.
