3. Develop your site (certain licence types only)
Effective May 8, 2019, Health Canada requires new applicants for cultivation, processing or sales for medical purposes licences to have a fully built site that meets all the requirements of the Cannabis Regulations at the time of their application, as well as satisfying other application criteria.

Notice it says “for MEDICAL purposes” If you are growing it as a medicine you have to have a facility and all that goes with it.
I believe Awesomesound would still be able to apply to grow under a microgrow license as long as he was in the recreational stream and not selling his product as medicine.
That is how i read it from the Health Canada website and we now really DO have the golden tickets boys and girls!!!
