In a word...........YES. I am definitely not a globalist, if it means Americans must assume a lower standard of living, while other countries enjoy a better standard than we have here.

To have a good job and say "screw the rest of Americans, I'm not hurting," is not only selfish but moronic, just so they can pay $1,000 less for their Toyota and bank money.

I am a true believer in allowing all Americans a job, like the Germans and Japanese (to name a couple of nationalist societies). If you have 2 shirts, give one to the less fortunate, but if you only have one, don't give it away and suffer the cold.
