I wrote to Investor relations today, and they responded quite promptly.

I was listening to the Conference call yesterday and was surprised that there were no questions for Jennifer. Was really hoping to find out if there's any progress on a CBD beverage. I know that recently a certain investor made a significant share purchase based on CBD development from Jones. Any information you're able to provide would be helpful.


the response:

there was a glitch in the software of the company that hosts our calls which prevented anyone from asking a question. Our response to CBD remains the same as what we said during our Q4 call: "We continue to evaluate CBD beverages and the opportunity it presents for a brand like Jones. We are aware of the potential of this segment, but with the current uncertainty in laws and regulations regarding this area, we believe that there is presently no clear path to material revenues in the short term. We believe that the current environment is one of high risk and low reward. We continue to evaluate product profiles, branding and other attributes while keeping an open mind going forward."
