Flynns crimes had nothing to do with the Trump campaign or influencing elections...They had to do with lies to the FBI about discussions with Russians about possible sanctions and about lies he had with Turkey, and dealings with them with his private company.

His "crimes" were on the Martha Stewart level...He was rather stupid as he had really done nothing wrong that he would have had to lie about..

He pleaded guilty so he wouldnt go bankrupt dragging the shit through the courts.
