Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it around last Oct. 3rd that all the main indices hit their all-time highs, which is about where we are now? And we know what happened next. The old adage is buy low, sell high. Right now I would be buying high.

For the time being, I'll stick to trying to buy individual stocks with short-term catalysts for growth (if I can find any) if I'm confident in their prospects, and cash. But with a very considered approach. I hit on Keysight not too long ago.
