Rory would be shouting this from the rooftops if they suddenly had $4m in cash to play with. No way would he keep it obscured.

No, SC paid for units just like everybody else but they did it after they got the $15m in cash from VERB. Yes, VERB got $4m as part of the entire amount AGP contracted to pay VERB, but they still paid SC the entire $15m, who then paid AGP for their units. The net cash SC ended up with was $11m, but VERB didn't end up with an extra $4m in it's coffers.

This is what I think happened.
