I might have to change my party affiliation so I can vote for Bill in the primary.

Make sure you do it way ahead of the primary.

I tried to do that when Rudy was running years ago. I changed my party affiliation just so I could vote against him.

The problem was that I waited too long and I still wasn't eligible to vote in the primary.

In NY I think they said I had to do it a year ahead of time.
