Not specifically for LWLG, but some penny traders actually pride themselves on not doing any research into a stock's fundamentals at all. They just go purely on the price action and TA/chart. They have no intention of holding the stock for longer than a few days/weeks, but back in my trading days I remember seeing a penny stock file for bankruptcy during that brief trading 'window'.

Most investors should just stick with index funds, which removes the stock specific risk. But index funds are boring, and stock traders/gamblers need action.
