What is great about the ECV (in theory) is the scalability of the system. It can work from one slice to multiple units placed in sequence. Will it be as efficient as large hydro units? I don't know for sure. Can you run a large hydro unit to power a back wash village. No. I think that is where the real application for the ECV lands. Small units for small power generation, off grid. Or like the website states steam, sewerage, waste etc. companies that can save a few bucks on electricity by utilizing some ECV units. IMO
