91% color from the QD-LEDs to pass through and exit the screen at over 90%.
91% color isn't a thing that passes through the screen. It's the % of the Rec.2020 color space that the display is capable of rendering at the front of the screen. It's a function of the peak wavelength and purity of the three primaries after they pass through LCD windows and color filters.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was necessary to modify the display's software to realize the larger color space. If so, that might be the biggest challenge to optimally implementing QMC’s remote phosphor QD-LEDs.
