It's great to be a PhD and to be very smart. However, honesty and integrity don't require sophistication. If Mark actually thought he could hoodwink so many people without consequence then he is clearly an idiot. What do they call it today? Emotional intelligence? He has none whatsoever.
The investor class is shell shocked that the company is being run by someone who now has zero credibility. Giving people hope that financials will be released at some point in the future doesn't cut it anymore. It just goes to show he has no cognitive empathy.
I'm sure his lawyers have told him what he can and cannot say or do and that he has skirted the edges of the legality of his actions. However, that might be legally smart but you only have one reputation and he has single handedly wrecked it.
Whatever he says through his tweets and emails to investors going forward are totally worthless, unless of course you want to delude yourself because you're in denial. He failed to meet the very easy and low bar of delivering financials that were promised in a letter to shareholders last December. How difficult is this to comprehend?
