Why are we going down like a rock?
1. Mnuchin fell in love with the NWS. A year ago when he was asked whether to stop the sweep he was infuriated, and ordered unconditional and continual implementation of the NWS. He is a politician and a Secretary of the Treasury. Politicians love to get huge sums of easy money - particularly when it's legit. So far no court ruled that robbing the GSE profits is illegal. 2. The same goes for DJT. Only he plays it safe, and doesn't want to get himself involved. So he quietly agrees to the NWS but doesn't utter a word towards this direction - just in case... Some here claim he wants to drain the swamp!!! Ha Ha Ha, don't make me laugh. Easy money and a politician! We are talking about Billions every qarter! 3. Otting was ordered to shut up completely or else he will be replaced. 4. Calabria? Once his nomination is approved - go figure what he might do against the will of POTUS and Mnuchin.
Some of you claim the our only hope is the Courts. I agree but so far this direction was a complete disappointment.
In the meantime - we dive! Get your oxygen masks ready.
