I doubt seriously Ullrich could buy components or a bike if he tried. There's not a manufacturer on earth that wouldn't ship him anything he wanted overnight at even the hint of desire on his part.
But as it turns out, more than likely he simply had his own bike building company ship over one of his own "Jan Ullrich Collection" toys.
You too can ride a Jan Ullrich frame, hand-made in Italy. Three models, ranging from 1,395 to 2,995 Euros. The two more expensive models are hand made to customer spec.
The "Campione" model is aluminum w/carbon seatstays. The "Olymp" model is full carbon. The "Grand Tour" model is full carbon.
