Exactly, many "reputable" people turned out not so reputable after all.

You'd be surprised what some people will do for money. That whole "so and so would never risk their reputation" theory doesn't hold water.

"It is easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled."

For those that don't get it, it means that people need to be more careful, and do good due diligence...
