Repeat - You, in your indefatigable defense of Trump, really are taking positions in conflict with all our allies, and most every other country in the world.
Look, I ran was not living up to their end of the deal. They still remained the #1 sponsor of terrorist groups around the world. They still vowed to wipe Israel off the face of the map. They only allowed inspectors in areas of their choosing, blocking inspections in areas they deemed unacceptable. So, yes, I think that deal was bogus.
Now, if Europeans have a different view or different reasons, such as economic, to accept the deal, that is their choice. But, we are not Europeans or lemmings.
That deal was Obama's, not America's. Tuesday, though, many opponents of the agreement argued that Obama’s failure to seek ratification was what allowed President Trump to end it unilaterally. According to Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.): “Donald Trump isn’t ripping up a treaty. … President Obama made a bad deal with Iran without support from Congress, and today President Trump is pulling out of President Obama’s personal commitment, and he doesn’t need Congress’s support to do so.” Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) tweeted that “President Trump had every right to withdraw the U.S. from what was effectively an Obama executive agreement.”
Because European leaders (many of whom are under attack by their countrymen ie. Yellow Vests and other such protest groups) are wrong headed, does that mean America should follow as a lemming?
