All opening statements in a proceeding where one is under oath are 'scripted'. Cohen answered the questions he was allowed to answer.

If you understand those facts, and if you eschew the bat-shit crazy conspiracy theories that are such catnip for Trumpanzees,
then there's no 'next big question' about his written statement.

Even Cohen's testimony was scripted. Who wrote it for him is the next big question.
