What you are saying is more conspiracy theory more than anything. Regardless, politics and or conspiracy theories are a waste of time. Especially this late in the game. It's all about making money at this point and how the story plays out. Nothing else.

Every play has a conspiracy theory. Fnf was the DTAs and how they were classified leading up to c ship. C ship was necessary because NOLs are the weakest class of assets and very passive. But hey, people want to count them as strong and uses that to dispute the c ship. Here it's the Paulson and Goldman angle. But, none of the investors put any blame on fnf or Lehman. No banks or GSE are faultless but some have more faults than others and life is not fair. Even with that, its irrelevant at this point. Making money is key. Nothing else.
