sanoman, very interesting post from someone directly affected.
houndish, thanks for post on the buy out. Makes me "hungry" to see the bought-out company go up in value suddenly like that. One day...(for those who are still around).

While I am here, I will add a point about my "big" thesis, the idea that the company is working on a stretegy that is surprisingly grandiose, so much so that it tests credulity. That I recall, I set out this idea a few times, most recently in the exchange with bigworld and downreg on the topic of Powdermed (which occurred on this board, to their great credit, BEFORE the buy-out by Pfizer). If true, the company only hints at this "big" strategy probably aware that the situation is as I describe it (not credible). As in the radio interviews conducted two summers ago, many of the CEO's comments fell on deaf ears at the time with the share price at a low of some 25 cents (roughly, from memory). What is new now? Of course, the long-awaited annoucement that they have obviously acquired land and are building a "big" headquarters and factory able to make a huge quantity of our proprietary DNA plasmid product when everything will be all up and running. This annoucement represents the strongest validation yet of the "big" thesis. (Even I figured they would use the Aldervron facility to set up shop. That was part of my idea when I said that I "figured it out" weeks ago - even going through the trouble of having a statement notarized at the bank). The mistake of overly downplaying the impracticality of Aldevron's location in another part of the country was not the main reason why I got it wrong. Even I, a proponent of the "big" thesis for some time, did not take the idea seriously enough. A building will now rise next door to that "Men in Black" interplanetary headquarters (lol) that Paulness sees on google. As I have pointed out before, the puzzle still remains unanswered. The mystery novel is not at its end yet. Despite the pleadings of bigworld that our only hope lies in supplying our DNA plasmid to Powdermed, we heard confirmation days ago in DJHarker's phone call with Dr. Berens that the bulk of our product is for our own use. The mystery remains. What are we planning to do with all that DNA plasmid?
