TJ Parker: I certainly won't argue your point about how gold has outperformed the market over the past two years. I, too, recognize that we are in a long-term bull market for gold and have weighted my portfolio accordingly.
What I AM saying is that the same thing is going on in equities right now, and has been going on since we bottomed in October 2002. If my guess is correct, this bull-market has anywhere from 6-12 months further to run, possibly up to the 2004 Presidential election. No reason one can't profit from TWO ongoing bull-markets. I suspect that you have not taken advantage of the bull market in equities, however. Trading in and out of a market demonstrating this degree of breadth and momentum is unnecessary and unprofitable, however.
