That’s the point I was driving at in #37174. The best case is that ribavirin added to the mix does not do anything awful (so the FDA allows it to be included in phase-3) but also does not do anything especially beneficial.

If the approved label for NM283 allows ribavirin to be optionally omitted, it will facilitate NM283’s commercial uptake even if NM283 ends up being used in a cocktail with ribavirin in most cases.
