No private insurance, and choice of doctors, are two of the scare-mongering main talking points, as you know.

Would be better if we didn't have so much of a need for it, but it's sold as required to keep government cost manageable.

I know two elderly ladies on the pension, with no private insurance, each of whom have had hip-replacement lately, entirely free.
