Much of the Float is being held by longs who aren't letting the shares go anytime soon. Those who know the company can see where it is going and are sitting back enjoying the ride. Your comment
Accepting that traders and shorts control this stock currently is wise
is nonsense. The last short report from FINRA (the only numbers I trust) showed a mere 166K shares short. New numbers are due to FINRA today. The highest short number I have ever seen in KGKG was roughly 2m; I own more than that just in my IRA. Shorts don't control anything here, it is just an easy and common enemy to point at when a company's share price consolidates.
As a trader I imagine you use charts to determine entry and exit points. Please link a chart and break it down for us so we can see how you do your magic.
