First had they said it that way they would be wrong. The shares do have “value” for whatever they are trading for in the market. If someone sells on Monday they will realize that market value.
What they are referring to is value coming out of the bankruptcy process. Examples would be a residual claim to assets once all the creditors have been paid or perhaps some liquidating dividend.
But there isn’t any in this case.. They are telling you in a straightforward and precise way that there is no underlying value to the shares. What the penny stock market wants to project, at least while those shares still exist and are publicly tradeable, is an entirely different question.
