CPI is needed for our success,and Amgn had to go because they don`t have what we need

You are making a lot of assumptions, and your deductions are a stretch. BMY and MRK have hundreds of "partnerships" that include a (free) supply of Opdivo or Keytruda, however, have no financial commitment. What they do is they place very cheap bets on hundreds of companies, and spread around the risks. Out of 100s of trials, a dozen or two would work while the rest fail. Then, MRK or BMY could pour big money into those companies/trials that showed some good data.
As for ADXS case, if we still had AMGN as our NEO partner, either BMY or MRK would have provided free/cheap CPI to see how it would work. There would have been no conflict of interests between AMGN and these two companies. They'd partner with a devil if the money could be made. Thus, I do not buy into your "convoluted" theory, as it does not have any merits.
