I'm buying 10 Dec QQQQ $45 puts for a small quick play. That's about $2000.
Right now, they're $1.90. So, 10 would cost $1900 + $7.50 in commissions.
$45 strike - $1.90 = $43.10 basis. So, anything under $43 I start making money.
I'm buying the in the money puts because I don't like time decay. The Q's are sitting right at resistance that I don't think is going to be broken on this rally. I think my inverse head and shoulders is going to hold and play out.
