I think Zeev and I could agree about one thing. On this thread comparisons of Nazis and current politics is often very loose and inarticulate. So inarticulate IMO I question the ability of people making such loose comparisons to hold government accountable no matter who is in office.

If I understand things right the Democrats just took the house and possibly the Senate when the votes are all recounted. HMmmm... unless I am right and we have a one party system how is it that the Democrats just won and the Republicans are Nazi's? Hmmm.. Many of the Democrats on this thread who use the term Nazi in the loosest fashion call me a nut for suggesting that we have a one party system and need a third party. One second they call me a nut for suggesting we have a one party system based on the stupidity of the voting public ( as opposed to guns like the Nazi's used ), Thirty seconds later they refer to the Bushies and Nazi's ( a one party system based on use of force and violence ), then when the Democrats win they cant seem to see the contradiction of calling the Bushies Nazi's. How observant.

If people against the war really want a U.S. withdraw, rather than posting pics of Bush as a Nazi maybe they should realize this is no time to be drunk on victory.

ITS TIME TO WRITE THE "NEW GOVERNMENT" ( It's not a one party system remember?) AND START DEMANDING A TIMETABLE FOR WITHDRAW. Why is it I doubt that will happen?

Without severe pressure on the new congress very little will change. Politicians will keep pissing on our backs and telling us it is raining. Those throwing term like Nazi around in the loosest fashion with be the ones screaming the loudest for more.

I personally think that understanding history is important and certainly discussions about history would include the term Nazi. Discussing history is not what I see happening on this thread. The way the Nazi label is being used here is part of an ongoing exercise in stupidity and hysteria. Not that much different than the WMD exercise in stupidity and hysteria.

First we hated the Arabs, then we hated Bush, who will we hate next?
