It really is.I spent about 2 hours one time (after a good rain the day before so water was running through the creek bed) up there just relaxing (and fell asleep!!) Not many places left like that! The forestry service maintains the trail but i have never seen ANYBODY up there hiking but unless you get online with them you would never know it was there though too!
