Navy, This is an outstanding post. It has complied all the I have wanted to say and share. Unfortunately, my time does not allow me to do such an amazing job as this writer has done.
Since the headline came out about release from conservatorship, I knew we should not rush as there is more to it than just one signature on a piece of paper or the appointment of one or two persons.
We are not living in a dictatorial country, we have checks and balances and this is what makes us great.
Some in out gov't don't want hedge funds to make a killing on this neither shareholders that bought at $0.50 cents a share.
If we are to prevail, justice needs to be served and pay dues to those that deserve it. Making one part win and one part lose is not fair specially shareholders that have held the bags for too long.
The one and most important thing is there is no argument from the gov't about not being paid. They got their money back by folds.
I hope we get to hear about the plan soon. This will tell us a lot. We are also hearing that even with this announcement it will take a year or two to release from conservatorship. Not fair for us to wait that long and not knowing if it will happen.
The reason I want to be conservative with my optimism is because we truly don't know what the end results will be.
