There are a number of interesting parallels. Extreme violence against the innocent, scapegoating, secret police and courts, suspension of civil rights, the odd idea of the 9/11 attacks vs the Reichstag fire, the enabling acts seeming a lot like the Patriot act and so forth.

It's not really fair to have a political dialogue where only one side is allowed to present its more cogent arguments. How do you not compare Mussolini's Fascist movement to Dick Cheney's views on government by corporate cronyism?

You come down heavily on the side of pretty virulent and bigoted elements here. Why?
