Tough to say, I don't know enough about the nuances of this case or general options in legal proceedings here.

I'd guess that it is now a standoff, with both parties daring the other to flinch. I'd agree that a trial would likely be more costly than the maximal return here ($25,000?). So, I'd guess they'll try to wait out the time allotted to come to a negotiated position before determining whether or not it will go to trial, then just settle on a number.

This seems a win-win for POTN. But the dragging frazzles us holders.
