If Partnering was on the horizon I wouldn't have thought they'd do this raise.

Agreed. The raise buys time. The decision on how much to raise and when to raise it will be the subject of hindsight analysis.

Given a raise and agreeing with you on the premise, I feel the raise could have been larger.
