This afternoon I listened to an NPR interview with Michael McFaul, former US Ambassador to Russia, and I agree with McFaul that it's incredible we are even discussing if a US president worked on behalf of Russia. McFaul said before a US president meets with the leader of a foreign gov't the meeting is first coodinated with the State Dept and a read-out of the meeting follows to prevent the other gov't from claiming promises were made.
Today's denial by Trump didn't clear anything up and questions remain...why is he so soliticious to Putin?...why didn't he confiscate the notes taken when he met one-on-one with Putin in Helsinki and not turn over those notes from meeting with Putin?...and does he/his family have any business dealings with Russia?

The dust-up over a "wall" is allowing Trump to hide from close scrutiny - the focus on thousands of gov't employees losing their regular pay keeps the spotlight away from what Trump may have done/may still be doing - at least Trump hopes.
