Trump vs. the Shutdown

For three weeks now the conflict over the US budget has been ongoing.
Although articles by different news agencies have tiptoed around it in their work on the topic, there is no other way to put it, really: President Trump is holding the US government hostage. In a situation which has been going on since late December, Donald Trump continues to stall the efforts of Congress to pass a budget to fund governmental activities for 2019.
