Price does not "adjust" itself. The next price on the open after a split or divvy of any sort is a trade at the minimum board lot. The bid and the ask or buyers and sellers set the new price. Now in most cases the new price is somewhere near the adjusted price. In the case of a r/s most often it goes lower initially. RBOS id a f/s this week of 12 for 1 and barely adjusted lol - 12 bagger I missed
Regardless of what the company said or filed I am confident that the trading in the USA was all presplit until dec 21st.
The disconnect is I do not know why they did not add a D on the 1st which is the whole reason why they started that procedure - to avoid screwups like this. I believe that the stock was post split on Dec 21st.
I would ask anyone who bought on the 21st to see if they can determine the cusip numbers of their buys nd post the info here. I am just terribly interested in this as I have been involved with many split screwups - some very very good for me and some no good. I have no financial interest in this situation in any way
