Could be, but the FDA has nothing to do with Canada or Canadian Cannabis producers. Canada never did allow snake oil CBD produced in warehouses with no testing or standards or regulations.
But yes, the majority of the USA CBD producers will have some major restructuring to do. If they have a viable product they can apply for FDA approval just like other medications do.
It seems like most people are fully aware that the CBD business in USA was operating in a gray area and were willing to take the risk. Win some lose some eh?
