Sorry can't agree.

Long story short the new management was given a pile of garbage, and while they may be making best efforts to improve it, they don't care about how it got that way.

By new management staying with the company after all the garbage that has happen tells be they do care.

If they didn't care they would have taken jobs at places with a cleaner history.

A ship is sinking.

The ones that puts on their life jackets and abandon ship are the ones that doesn't care about the ship or it's passengers.

The ones that stays with the ship and try their best to keep it from sinking, risking they lives (professional careers and reputations) are totally the ones that care about the ship and it's passengers.

Concerning

I doubt they have the courage to lose their jobs and jump on that grenade for the sake of a few angry investors.

It has nothing to do with courage, it all about survival.

They still have a company to run.

They still have to attract not turn away new and old customers to stay in business.

It serves no one's best interest to self destruct over a past new management can not change.
