Since they are not being drafted anymore, war is no longer scary and personal. It's just an unpleasantness far far away for a cause nobody remembers

Perhaps for those that sit and give opinions without sacrifice. But I doubt that would hold true for the Wives, Children, Mothers, Fathers and Siblings of those "Over There".
