The same logic could be used to say that the market tanked because the democrats didn't win the majority in the senate as was anticipated

Only those that suffered from delusional hopes (like Hillary winning the Presidency) thought Repub's would lose the Senate. However, when Dem's took control (via mid terms) of the House, the DOW began to really spiral down.

Of course I do not expect you to recognize or correlate the statistics before your eyes. Continued liberal delusion.
