When I go to buy securities on the TSX, the transaction fee is higher which may be why some people choose the OTC. The ironic thing is that if you have any NB (TSX) shares, all of the NIOBF (OTC) shares get converted to the NB (TSX) ticker symbol. At least that is what I have experienced with Fidelity.
