If you are relying on that youtube video for your positive impression of Trammel's engineering skill.... then you've been tricked.

Presumably, Trammel is indeed a competent sound engineer. But the stuff he's talking about is complete garbage clearly designed to mislead laymen.

It looks like he gets a real ego trip out of clueless people fawning over his spew, pretending they understand anything he's talking about, and acting all impressed by the magic he pretends he can perform.
