No one can actually describe what this software does which is so great. No one can produce any kind of analysis to demonstrate MAXD software improves sound fidelity.

All we've got is people misunderstanding metaphors + sound samples which use obvious perception tricks to confuse and mislead people.

This "digital stair-step" garbage is a perfect example. It's equivalent to looking at your online bank account and seeing:

$0.30 <-- Price of a single MAXD share back in 2013

If you go to the bank, you can turn that digital $0.30 into 3 shiny analog dimes.

Now imagine your bank upgrades its web software, and your account now shows:

$0.3000 <-- Price of 1.0 MAXD shares in back 2013 "Higher Resolution!"

All excited by this "higher resolution", you run to the bank expecting to get a new special kind of money... but guess what... the bank still offers you the exact same 3 shiny analog dimes.

The next day you visit your bank site and the numbers on your screen are 4 inches tall:

$0.30 <-- Price of 1,000 MAXD shares today "Bigger Money!"

All excited by this "Bigger Money" you run to the bank, tell them you want the BIGGER MONEY and you're not going to settle for the same 3 crappy dimes they keep offering you... so this time, they give you 6 nickels.
