Kthomp. It seems that it would be very important to Trump to insure that the next FHFA Director is completely aware of the Trump agenda. Trump will be sure that his pick will follow that agenda since once appointed a director is difficult to remove. Calabria's historical views/opinions on FnF are well known. If Trump chooses him I believe it is because he will have assurances from Calabria that they are on the same team and Calabria will be a team player. In a nut shell, Trump wants/needs that $250b. Calabria would not back stab Trump. His reputation would be ruined via tweets alone. Trump already has a reputation of exacting revenge for disloyalty.
Now this is almost all just my opinion based on what I have read about. So does anybody think that I am giving Trump or Calabria or both of them too much credit?
