admittedly this isn't my specialty. I just look at charts. See a big move, and try and find a logical excuse

If we are to move in an elliot wave style impulse there are 3 tops coming that will each need a reason.

"known" potentials..,
surprise earnings mid month
The contracts you speak of..
a strat test/update
a new exchange, and
a sec investigation that comes back with no problems

On a macro scale, the technolgy/telecommunications sector has been roaring and must soon explode into a bubble once again to get this continent(world) ready for war.
Central banks world-wide have been making(creating) money and teleco's will be soaking it up.
Another point, the $usd is set to rally heavy against the canadian and euro dollar, if not every currency, in the mother of all short covers. Remind you of anything..?lol
Look what happens to gte(m) every time the $usd rallies.
