There is nothing in the constitution saying the president cannot be indicted. The argument the process would take up time to the extent that the president could not carry out his constitutional duties? Well, impeachment takes up his time too and it is accepted that process is constitutional. "I don't agree the president cannot be indicted." If the Dept. of Justice decides indictable crimes have been committed, but the president cannot be indicted, then the statute of limitations should be such that he can be indicted after he leaves the presidency. No one is above the law.
