At least Judas was honest in recognizing his own guilt at betraying Christ.

Bob Ney a convicted felon mind you kept getting paid for seven weeks after his guilty plea.

And the best the republicans could come up with...

House Republicans had threatened to expel Ney if he didn't quit by the time lawmakers returned to Washington after Tuesday's elections.


And is Ney remorseful?


Ney's letter, printed under his House letterhead, said, "Having completed all outstanding work in my congressional office, I now hereby resign from the United States House of Representatives effective close of business on Friday, Nov. 3, 2006."

I guess he had a few more checks to get into the bank!
