So under which law is BIOAQ's equity holders allowed to survive bankruptcy when the creditors in front of them are not satisfied?

And how does every other bankrupt company in the same situation (much less full liquidation like BIOAQ) get their equity cancelled but somehow BIOAQ won't?

Under which law is BIOAQ "special" that equity interests somehow jump in front of the line and are not subject to the bankruptcy?
