I believe they would round DOWN to a WHOLE share. They would not issue fractional shares. I have seen "round down" in some other stocks.

Also, you only pay taxes on what you sell. If you didi not have that fraction of a share in the first place, (hence round down), you would not have to pay the taxes on it.
