The last mini ice age was triggered by fresh water from the melting glaciers stopping the Gulf Stream far south of New England. It affected Europe mainly and New England to a lesser extent (owing to the direction of the trade winds) if I recall correctly. The Pacific continues to heat though and Antarctica continue to melt, parts of Charleston, SC and Miami, FL are flooding with high tides and you continue to be a lazy low-intellect troll.

Greenland melting might cause a similar if somewhat smaller and more localized effect in the near future... but I expect the mountain west and upper mid west will continue to heat.
